We have baby deer!

Today while at the ranch ,Stephen and paw paw found the first baby deer of the season. For those who don't know, Stephen and his dad are dreading deer up at the ranch. One of the five doe just had her first baby. It is a little doe. She is so cute. Just wish we could have been there to see her and hold her. Maybe next time. It surely won't be our last.

Pool time!

Last year I was going to buy one of those cheap plastic pools with the slide on it and before I could get one they were all gone. This year, I got one and it was so worth the $30.00 I spent on it. Morgan loves that thing. She loves anything with a slide. She slides on her bottom, forwards and backwards. She slides on her tummy. You name it, she has tried it. I just wish my bottom was a little smaller and I could enjoy it as well. It looks like so much fun. Oh, to be young again!

Minnie or Jo Jo?

Tonight Stephen and I were sitting in the living room watching TV and Morgan came running out of her room with her Minnie Mouse ears and Jo Jo clown nose on. When asked who she was she said that she was Minnie Jo Jo. I guess this is what happens when a mouse and a clown get together? Got to love her.

Happy Birthday Lauren!

Tonight the family all gathered to celebrate Lauren's 7th birthday. I can't believe she is turning 7. It just seems like yesterday that she was in diapers and crawling around. She got her first American Girl doll that she had been wanting, Kit. Happy Birthday Lauren. We love you sweetheart.

Junior is not a Junior?

Stephen sat a trap to catch a raccoon that was eating all his deer's food. Morgan thought that he was pretty cool and asked if she could take him home. I told her that I didn't think that Callie, our cat, would be to happy with that. So we decided to take him down the road and let him go.

New update. We now think that the baby buffalo is a baby girl instead of a boy. Oops! So we are now calling her Buffy the buffalo. She/he is surely growing. She is so fun to watch running in the field. She sure does love her mommy and never wonders far from her side. Hum, that reminds me on someone else!

Back at the Ranch!

This weekend we went to the ranch for a couple of days. We were glad that the weather was nice so that we could get outside and have some fun. Morgan was glad that she got to spend sometime with her paw paw. There never seems to be a dull moment up there.


Buffy is getting bigger every day. I wish she could stay small forever. She's so cute!

We have a baby buffalo!

Well it is finally here. This week the momma buffalo had her baby. Stephen thinks it's a boy. We have decided to call it Junior. First Morgan said she wanted to name him George but she heard her daddy call him Junior so Junior it now is. He's so cute!
