Girl Day!

It has been a really long time since me and my sister have hung out together. So today we decided to spend some sister time together. We hopped on the DART rail and rode the rail downtown and had us some lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse. I don't know who enjoyed it more, us or the girls. It was lots of fun catching up on things and talking about our recent Disney trip. I think plans are in the works for another trip next May!! Come on over time! Momma wants to head back to Disney. So excited! It was just a simple train ride and some yummy spaghetti but it made for an awesome day!

The girls snacking on some bread before lunch.

We were so excited that we got to eat in the trolley car for lunch. Morgan, please don't look so thrilled....

Two DART rail tickets $6.00. Lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse $20.00. Having lunch with the most wonderful sister in the world, priceless!
The girls enjoying their push pops we got them at the candy store after lunch while waiting for the rail.

Homeward Bound

I can't believe that our journey has come to an end. We have had a wonderful time. This has been the best family vacation yet. We didn't get to do everything on my list but there is always next time. I see another trip in our future. Disney is everything that I could imagine and then some. It has changed so much since I was last here. It was fun to ride some of the rides I road as a kid with Morgan. It was even fun to see Stephen react to some of the things that he saw and watching him react to Morgan was priceless. Disney is truly a place of magic where dreams really do come true!!!

Goofy and Minnie. This was an awesome party, I mean parade. Well it was like a party. Lots of dancing and singing. Morgan had a great time. A perfect way to end our perfect trip!
After a wonderful morning at Magic Kingdom we headed back to the hotel to wait for our bus to take us back to the airport. These are pictures of the lobby of our hotel. Well found out the all the logs used in our hotel are when Mt. Saint Helen erupted and destroyed the forests Disney bought the rights to all the timber and transported it back to Florida and used the timber to build the Wilderness Lodge. Pretty cool. Disney does amazing things. What an amazing company. Walt would be proud.
The beach to the lake at the Wilderness Lodge.
Morgan enjoying the playground at the hotel while we wait for our bus.
Morgan doing her "homework" as she calls it.

Magic Kingdom, Where Fantasy Reigns!

Love me some Magic Kingdom! I am an addict! I love it, I love it, I love it! Did I mention I love it? It is my favorite of all the parks. Mostly because Morgan enjoys it so much. I love seeing the look on her face when she spots a character or sees the castle. It is a feeling that really touches my heart. Today we officially celebrated Morgan's birthday. She wore her Mickey birthday shirt that I made her, which she got several compliments on, thank you. She has been treated like a birthday princess all week due to wearing her birthday pin. Stickers, bubbles, pins, and cupcakes galore. We started out the day with breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. We rode the tram there, which Morgan really enjoyed. It was so fun seeing Mickey and the gang, and of course we all got more cupcakes. Breakfast was awesome. One of the best meals I had here. Loved the mickey shaped waffle. Morgan got to meet all the fairies today and get their autographs. It was her favorite part of the day. Mine and Stephen's too. We only had to wait in line for hour and half. But as Stephen said "the things we do for our children." It was worth every second of it. Stephen even enjoyed it. Tonight we went to Downtown Disney to do a little shopping and have a little dinner. It was a beautiful night. We really had a great time. It was a perfect day. I can't believe that we are heading back home tomorrow. Seven day went by so quick. My sister is right, I think you could stay here a month and still not see all that there is to see. We are heading back to Magic Kingdom tomorrow morning before we head back home. Morgan really wants to get Buzz Lightyears autograph and Stephen told her it was a done deal. So back to the Kingdom we go!

Morgan and Goofy. And to think that just two days ago she would bearly go near the characters. Goes to show what a few days at Disney can do to you. Maybe if we stay for a month she would become the most perfectly behaved child in the world. I think I could go for that!

This is a really cool ride called the Character of Flight. It is a hot air balloon that takes you 400 feet up in the air given you a 360 degree view of Walt Disney World. We didn't get to do it on this trip but it is defiantly on list to do list for the next trip.
