The Shellito's: Easter

Went to mom's today for her famous Easter celebration. We all had a great time and was so glad that Jessica came and celebrated it with us. Not only because it gave us some more time to spend with her, but was glad to give up my egg tossing position to her. Heck, she is the starting JV softball pitcher for her team. She has got to throw an egg better than me. It was a great celebration but I couldn't help to notice that something was missing. And then it hit me, Ruby. It was sad not to see her there. This was the first big family celebration we have had since she passed. It was hard to not see her sitting in her special chair and hear her talk to everyone. She was greatly missed. Morgan had a wonderful time until the Easter bunny showed up. She was then in a panic screaming and crying in Stephen's arms. Great! Um, miss! We are going to Disney in three week, get over it! Sure hope this is not what it is going to be like at Disney. Will see. Anyway, it was great to see family and friends that I had not seen in awhile and catch up on old times. Looking forward to next years clebration as always. Oh, one more thing, Phyllis you ROCK!! So excited to see someone win the egg toss other than my sister, although she and Morgan did win the kids egg toss. So proud of her. Another trophy to add to the shelf!
