Blue Bonnets!

Today I took Morgan to a patch of blue bonnets and took her picture. I took some in her Easter outfit but they didn't turn out as well as the one's in her regular clothes. Oh well, at least I found some blue bonnets. I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting. What a cutie I must say!

Zoo Bound!

Today we went to the Dallas Zoo. We had a wonderful time until Morgan got scared by a big Gorilla. I am sure we will be hearing about this one for a long time! Oh well, next up The Fort Worth Zoo!

We didn't even get out of the parking spot and Morgan was fast asleep. I think the zoo was a hit.

It grew, It really grew!

I can't believe it but the plant grew. I was getting worried after two weeks, nothing. Then out of nowhere it grew! Lesson on horticulture, completed!

Girls Night Out!

Tonight Morgan, Lori, Lauren and me went out to eat and to see Disney on Ice! We had a really wonder time. At times, I think the adults were having just as much fun if not more than the kids! Morgan had a blast. See could have a blast just about anywhere as long as Lauren is with her.

Today Morgan got her first hair cut. She just sat there little the big girl she is. After her haircut she got her nails painted and she thought that was the coolest thing. I see a bad trend starting here!


Tonight we met Lori and Lauren for dinner and then we went to the Royse City High School to see a picture that Lauren had drawn in class. Only three 1st grade students had their artwork picked and she was one of them. Yeah, Lauren. We are so proud of you!

Back at the ranch!

This weekend we went to the ranch. Since the weather was nice we sent a lot of time outdoors. Morgan and me drove around the ranch on the mule alot. Once we were back at the house Morgan decided that she wanted to drive. So I snapped a couple of pictures of her in the mule.

One night when we went out to dinner, papaw was acting silly and was trying to hitch a ride. Crazy papaw!

What a day!

Today was quite a busy day. First we started out at the park. We had a really good time. I had the pleasure of sliding down the slide about a thousand times. My little monkey climbs the rock wall like a champ! She always amazes me with all the thinks that she can do. She is just growing up so fast. Just seems like she was just learning to walk yesterday and now we are climbing rock walls.

After we woke up from our afternoon nap we decided to have a little lesson on horticulture. One of my little primaries from work brought me a Valentine's Day gift and in it was this little flower pot that grows flowers. So I decided to turn it into a little lesson with Morgan. So today we planted the seeds and sat it on my kitchen window. Now we just have to wait. I sure hope that it grows something or I am going to have a lot of explaining to do!

Then after our horticulture project was completed we decided to make a club house and play in. Everyone enjoyed it except our cat. It is amazing how the simplest things in life please little kids.
