Cold, Cold, Cold!

The ice came again. While I made the 2 1/2 hour drive to work, Stephen stayed home with Morgan. He took a couple of pictures from our front pouch that I thought were pretty cool.

Last week my oven would not lite. So I tracked down the part, picked it up and with the turn of a few screws I had a nice blue flame and we were up and cooking again.

Next, I was on to fixing the toilet. It would often not stop running after you flushed it. So thanks to Kevin, my brother n law, I had the part in hand and some quick easy instruction's for installation. Within seconds I had it fixed and was working great.

So the lesson I learned, there is not much I can't do if I stick my mind to it. Plus, I know I saved us a fews dollars by making the small repairs myself. Yeah me!

Ruby's 84!

My grandmother, Ruby, turned 84. Morgan and Lauren were so excited about signing her happy birthday and having some of her wonderful birthday cake.



When we were leaving mom showed me how she had some friends visit her flower bed. I don't know how well you can see them, but it is deer tracks. If she doesn't watch it, Stephen will have a deer stand up in her front yard before long.

Stephen's best friend, David turned 40 over the weekend. Stephen and me went to the party. We had a great time. Happy birthday David!

Happy New Year!

Just wanted to wish all a very happy and safe New Year. I don't know what this year will bring but I hope many great things. I have made my New Years resolutions list. Can't say that I will keep them all but I sure am going to try. First on the list is get this weight off. I am starting Weight Watchers. With the help and support of my god friend Erica, who is a Weight Watchers pro, I am hoping to get this weight off for good. Well best wishes to all in the up coming year.
