Princess in training!

Morgan was playing in her room today and then she came running out all dressed up as this amazing princess. She came running up to me and placed her magic wand on my leg and told me that I was now her "bestest friend." That lasted for about an hour and then I was no longer on the friend list. It is amazing how I am off the list just because I asked her to pick up her books. Oh well, better luck tomorrow. I love you princess Morgan!

Up, Up and Away!

Today while at the ranch, Stephen and Morgan decided to fly a kite that he got for her. I think Morgan was more interested in looking at the buffalo than flying the kite. Maybe we will try again at a later time.

While I was getting things ready to head to the ranch, Morgan was looking up numbers in the phone book while wearing her new favorite pink hat. What a diva!

Congrats Big Girl Morgan!

To all that have been following my blog, you may have noticed that lately when you have seen pictures of Morgan, she has been missing one thing, BB a.k.a her pacifer. As of today, Morgan has been pacifer free for 1 month! I have since long ago tossed them in the trash, but I just realized that it has been a month since she gave it to Callie, our cat, to take to the baby kitties. So let's give a big had to my big girl Morgan. Hip, Hip Horray! Yeah for Moran. Mommy and daddy are so proud of you big girl.

Happy Velentine's Day!

While waiting for Stephen to get back home from San Antonio today, Morgan and me went shopping with mom, Lori and Lauren. We also went over to Lori's house to down load some applique stuff to our computer so that we can soon put mom's new embroidery machine to work. I am really looking forward to making Morgan some new cute clothes. I bought her the cutest Easter outfit of EBay and I can't wait for her to wear it (pictures to come in the future, stay tuned!). Once we all made it home, Morgan and me found that Stephen had got us a Valentine's Day surprise. Morgan got some pretty tulips, because after our expense trip to Build A Bear last week I told him so more stuffed animals! I got this really cool stone candle that I have been wanting. I saw them when we were in Colorado and have been wanting one ever since. It is really pretty and peaceful when the lights are all off. It really puts out a really pretty glow. We also went to dinner at our little Mexican restaurant that we like to go to. Wasn't to romantic but it is about the only place we could think to talk Morgan without ruining someone else's dinner. So in all we had a really nice Valentine's day and we are so glad that daddy is back home safely from his trip. Thanks daddy for everything! We love you!

These are the cupcakes that I made for Morgan's daycare Valentine's Day party. I love doing party stuff for the kid's. I was pretty proud of myself because those of you that know me well know that I do not cook or at least not well. I was told by the sitter, Valerie, that the kids really did enjoy them. Yeah me!

The War is On!

Stephen left yesterday to go to a deer breeders meeting in San Antonio so I thought this would be the perfect time to try and get Morgan back into her bed. Since the middle of December she has been sleeping in our bed and that is just not working. So last night I made her cry it out for 25 minutes and then I went in her room, rocked her to sleep within 10 minutes, then laid her down in her bed. Well once I got in my bed I cried like a baby for 35 minutes. I just kept hearing her say "Mommy I need you, where are you. Mommy I need you , where are you!" It was horrible. But tonight I was prepared. I was putting up my shield. When I told her it was time to go to bed she said " Mommy rock me." So I rocked her to sleep within ten minutes and laid her down in the bed. Although I think I have created a new problem by rocking her to sleep, I really don't care! At least we have our bed back! I am just glad that she will sleep in her bed again.

It's The Doddlebops!

Today while I was cleaning house I gave Morgan a big bag of toys that Lauren had passed on to her. In it was this wig that I had bought for Lauren long ago when she was obsessed with the Doodlebops. Morgan was running around with it on her head and the she passed it off to her daddy to wear. I don't know who laughed more, M0rgan or her mommy. Thanks daddy for being such a fun playmate! Would you be Rooney or Moe Doddle? Oh, love the glasses as well.

Back to Chuck E Cheese

Tonight we went back to Chuck E Cheese for Stephen's best friends little boy, Ewan's, 6th Birthday. Morgan and Ewan had a great time.

Morgan can build a bear!

Morgan and me did a little shopping today at the mall and I decided to let her go to Build a Bear and build a bear. She really did a good job. Although she did not build a bear she built a dog, which she so keenly named Doggy. She even picked out some really cute Hello Kitty panties for Doggy to wear. We look forward to returning again soon.

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza!

Morgan and me were bouncing off the walls at home so we decided to go to Chuck E Cheese for a little while and play and have some pizza. We had lots of fun and won lots of tickets. We hit it big on the Deal or No Deal game. We won 65 tickets!

Desitin Anyone?

Morgan was playing in her room and when I went to check on her, there she sat in her chair rubbing herself down with Desitin. I just laughed and she she smiled and I continued to clean her up. It is amazing what children can get into so quickly.
