Tonight when I got home, Stephen told me he thinks Morgan has chosen a new career path in cosmetology. He was talking on the phone when Morgan said she was going to get her colors and would be back. Several minutes had past and no Morgan. When Stephen went to find her in her room, she had took the markers and colored on her face. This is what he saw. I think she shouldn't quit her day job!
Thank goodness for washable markers!

My Little Book Worm
Morgan has a new place that she loves, the library. I held off forever taking her to the library and what a shame. I should have been taking her long before now. Everyday Morgan ask me if she can go to the library. She loves going and getting new books to read at bedtime. But most of all she loves playing on the computer. She loves to play the games and is learning to use the computer really well. I'm so proud of her. She's my little book worm. Much rather have a book worm than a couch potato!

Walking For Lia!!
Many of you may remember me posting last year about a friend from work who was having a baby girl that had multiple heart defects. Well, Lia is doing great! Today, Morgan and me walked with team Lia in honor of her in the American Heart Association Heart Walk. Even though it rained on us for the walk, we had a great time. It was great to get to see little Lia and walk for such a great cause. It was also awesome to see all the hot pink team Lia shirts and see just how much this little girl is loved. We love you Lia and can't wait to walk again next year!

My Little Artisit
Morgan has for the longest time loved to color, paint, draw, you name it. Give the kid a box of colors or markers and she is on cloud nine. But her art work was always a mystery to me as to what they were. Flower, Dora, cat, dog, rainbow? They were all beautiful, but not so easy for me to see the "real picture" if you get my picture. But tonight it was different. When I picked her up at my sister's house this evening I was a bit surprised. She came running down the stairs to show me this picture that she had drawn. She said it was a picture of her. To my surprised I could actually "see" the picture. At first, I didn't believe she did it all by herself, so I asked my niece if she helped her and she said no that she did it all by herself. Even my sister was in disbelief and confirmed it with Lauren that Morgan really did draw it all herself. Lauren said "YES". She said all she did was tell Morgan to draw some ears on the picture. I told her to draw me another picture and she drew almost the exact same picture on the back. I was so proud of her. It almost brought tears to my eyes. My baby girl is getting so big. I can't believe all that she can do. I can't wait to see what she draws me next. Oh, when we got home tonight she ran and told her daddy that she drew that picture for him and that it was a picture of him. WHAT??? I thought it was for ME! Oh well, kids will be kids!

Go Raiders Go!
Stephen left yesterday to go to the deer lease so today Morgan and me spent the day with mom. First we did a little shopping and then we went to see Lauren cheer at one of her games. One word, HOT! Boy, it was so hot today. There was no breeze at all. But it was all worth it to get to see Lauren cheer. She is doing really great. I can see her improving with each and every game. I am so proud of her. After getting some lunch we headed back home and for 2 1/2 hours I battled with Morgan to lay down and take a nap for both of our sakes. Well she finally gave it up. She was beat. I snapped a picture of her passed out on my bed. If they would only listen to what we have to say. Don't they know we know EVERYTHING!!!!! Long story short we had a great day and we are really looking forward in taking a girls trip to Canton tomorrow. Trade Days here we come!
What a cutie! Go Raiders!
Lauren rocking out her cheers!
V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!
Lauren won a pirate patch at lunch and was showing us her pirate face. Errrrr!
Morgan finally passed out after hours of trying to get her to take a nap.
Sure wish I could sleep so soundly.

Volleyball anyone!
Tonight Morgan and me went to one of Jessica's volleyball games. She did really well. I can't believe that she is a freshman. Boy, where does the time go. Looking forward to attending more games in the future.

Another year older....
Well today I turned another year older. Another year closer to the big 40. Well until then I am going to make the best of the next 3 years until that day comes. So how does it feel turning 37 ?The same it did when I turned 36, and the year before that and the year before that. To me it just seems like another day. Since Stephen is out of town working, I asked Morgan what she wanted to do today to help me celebrate my birthday. She so boldly told me that only she could have birthday's. Sounds good to me. I would love to stay 36 forever! So we decided to go do a little shopping and have lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. We had a wonderful time. I was even able to get out of the gift shop without spending a dime. We went to the Disney Outlet store instead and got a couple of really cute tshirts for $4 each! Why is it that it is my birthday and Morgan got all the treats. Anyway, I had a great birthday spending it with my little monkey. I couldn't of picked a better person to spend it with!
