Day Five, The Cayman's!

Well today was a day of mixed emotions. This morning we arrived in Grand Cayman. After much delay we finally got off the boat only to find that we had missed our excursion. But thanks to Veronica she was able to get us on the same excursion just a little later. We all swam with the sting ray's. We had a blast. Well all except Madison. It just wasn't her cup of tea. Morgan loves it! She thought that they were awesome and everyone was amazed at how well she did. Jessica and me both held the sting ray. It was incredible. I even gave one a kiss and got a little back massage from one. It was an experience that I will never forget and I am so glad that the girls were there to share it with me. The boys all went scuba diving and said they had an amazing dive. After and incredible swim we headed back to the boat. This is where the fun began, well not really. On the boat ride back to the bus Morgan was shacking she was so cold. I didn't think much of it, just wrapped her up in a big beach towel and cuddled her. Then when we got on the bus Morgan feel asleep in my arms and as we made a corner turn I grabbed her head to protect it and that is when I felt her forehead. She was on FIRE!!! Her face was flushed and I could tell she didn't feel good. Once we got back on the ship I took her temperature and it was 102.8. Great! So I called the infirmary on the boat to see if the doctor was in. So once Stephen got in from his dive I took Morgan to see the doctor. He gave her some antibiotics and told me to keep up with the Tylenol and Motrin. When we got back to the room around 5:30PM I put Morgan to bed and she was out for the night. I had to wake her to get her PJ's on. I was so upset that I had to miss the last formal night. SO I sent Stephen off to dinner and I had dinner in the room. I didn't mind to much because it gave me some quite time to myself and some time for some much needed rest. Stephen hit the casino that night with David and I just called it a night. I'm sure hoping that Morgan feels better in the morning so we can go on our excursion in Cozumel to Xacaret. So the day was a memorable one with it's good and bad. Just hate to see Morgan so sick. Nothing worse than having a sick kid especially while on vacation.

Me getting a massage from the sting ray. Awesome!

Kissey, kissey!

Morgan petting the sting ray. My big, brave girl!

One of many sting ray we saw. Incredible!

This is the sand bar out in the ocean that we landed at to swim with the sting rays.

Morgan once we got back to the ship and in our room with a 102.8 fever.

After a long eventful day, it was nice to see such a beautiful sunset. Do we ever have to go back home???
