The Journey Has Begun

Today we left home for Galveston. The start of our much needed vacation. We all made it down safely and had a wonderful dinner in Kemah, TX at The Aquarium. We had not been to Kemah since the big hurricane so we were so excited to see that it had not been destroyed and that it was even bigger and better. Morgan was so excited to see Madison. They are like two pea's in a pod. All I have heard was Madison this, Madison that. I am so happy that the two of them get along so well. I do believe this is going to be a really fun week. Looking forward to getting on the boat tomorrow.

We all rode this ride called the Sky Tower which is the ride you sit in and it takes you up this big tower then rotates to you can see all of Kemah and the bay from way up in the air. It was really fun and Morgan really liked it.

The gang all played a boardwalk game to try and win the girls a Sponge Bob stuffed doll. Stephen won of course. We paid $6.00 to win a $1.00 doll. Hey, it was worth it, plus we are on vacation!
